Neil chose to celebrate his retirement with a gift of $50,000 to create a new scholarship focused on undergraduate students: the Guppy Undergraduate Excellence in Sociology Fund.

Professor Amin Ghaziani awarded fellowships at LSE and NIAS
Congratulations to Prof. Amin Ghaziani, who has been awarded a Visiting Scholar appointment in the sociology department at the London School of Economics (LSE) this spring. Prof. Ghaziani has also been awarded a residential fellowship at the Netherlands Institute of Advanced Study (NIAS) in Amsterdam. Prof. Ghaziani will transition to this position immediately after his term at LSE.
