New curriculum incoming
Please note that starting in 2021W new degree requirements will take effect for the Honours in Sociology, Major in Sociology, Minor in Sociology and Minor in Family Studies programs. This will only take effect for students who declare their specialization in 2021 and does not affect students who have previously declared their specialization.
Sociology has helped me become a stronger communicator, which is very important when working with a small team and managing campaigns or projects. Additionally, a degree in Sociology creates empathy and understanding for others. The ability to understand a situation from someone else’s perspective is priceless and endlessly useful in any job.
