Profs. Catherine Corrigall-Brown and Yue Qian awarded by Canadian Sociological Association



Congratulations to Prof. Catherine Corrigall-Brown for receiving the Lorne Tepperman Outstanding Contribution to Teaching Award, and to Prof. Yue Qian for receiving the Early Investigator Award, both issued by Canadian Sociological Association (CSA).

The Canadian Sociological Association annually presents several awards of recognition for scholarly work and contributions to the field of Canadian Sociology. CSA highlights achievements with awards to honour students, and scholars in the early and advanced stages of their careers, as well as practitioners in the community.

Dr. Catherine Corrigall-Brown

Dr. Catherine Corrigall-Brown is given the Lorne Tepperman Outstanding Contribution to Teaching Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the teaching of undergraduate sociology that have made significant impacts.

Prof. Yue Qian

Prof. Yue Qian is awarded in recognition of making significant research contributions in the early stages of her career, as her researches are high quality, innovative, and with future potential for the sociology field.
