Yesterday, the UBCSociology SunRun team (comprising of 21 faculty, students, staff, and friends and family) participated in the department’s 10th Vancouver SunRun. Beth Hirsh led the way with a 41 minute time, leading the team to a 10th place finish in the Education category out of 38 teams, beating such worthy UBC opponents as UBC School of Nursing, UBC Psychology, UBC Building Operations, UBC Center for Blood Research, and UBC Risk Management. Congrats UBC Sociologists!
