Sociology’s Amanda Cheong is one of the winners of the inaugural UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Award for Statelessness Research. Her thesis “Changing Conceptions of Citizenship Among Stateless Chinese-Bruneian Immigrants in Vancouver,” won in the undergraduate category.
