Hélène Frohard-Dourlent is the winner of this year’s Sociology Doctoral Dissertation Award, which is awarded to outstanding dissertation’s completed between January and December 2016.
Katherine Lyon and Hélène Frohard-Dourlent are the co-winners of this year’s Sociology Sessional Instructor Teaching Award, in recognition of their outstanding teaching in the department as sessional instructors.
Madison Slobin and Reba DeGuevara have both been won this year’s Francesco Duina Undergraduate Scholarship, which is awarded to the best paper submitted to the undergraduate sociology journal Sojourners.
