Congratulations to Dr. Silvia Bartolic for being selected to receive the 2021 Ernest G. Osborne Award from the National Council of Family Relations (NCFR)!

The award, given in memory of three time NCFR President and Professor of Family at Teachers College at Columbia University Ernest G. Osborne, recognizes excellence in the teaching of family studies and distinguished service to families, outstanding teachers in the field of family studies, and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence in the teaching of family relationships.

Dr. Silvia Bartolic

Dr. Bartolic has over 20 years of teaching experience, including 19 years of higher education instructional practice, and has based her work on a teaching philosophy aiming to create lasting change in learners knowledge, beliefs, behaviors and attitudes. She aims to position students as co-creators of their learning, help develop transferable skills, and ultimately promote an interest in life long-learning.
