Melinda Trinh
This year’s Family Studies Graduating Prize winner is Melinda Trinh, who is graduating with a major in Sociology and a minor in Family Studies at UBC.
The Prize has been endowed by the Department of Sociology for an outstanding fourth-year graduating student in a Family Studies minor who has achieved high academic standing and is awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Sociology.
With her passion for research and exploring current world problems, Trinh will be pursuing the Master of Public Policy at Simon Fraser University this coming fall.
