Assistant Professor Qiang Fu joins UBC Sociology from the doctoral program of Duke University, bringing expertise in the areas of Urban Sociology, Social Capital, Health, Demography, and Methods. Dr. Fu also adds to UBC Sociology’s international focus with his ongoing research projects in China. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Fu to the department.
Prof. Amin Ghaziani invited to serve on the editorial board of the American Sociological Review.
The ASR is the flagship journal of the American Sociological Association. Prof. Ghaziani will have a 3-year term on its editorial board.
