“Older Women Who Lack Social Ties More Likely to be Obese” says new research by Prof Gerry Veenstra
New research in combination with UBC Medicine shows that older women who lack strong social ties are more likely to be obese than their male counterparts. These men were actually less likely to be obese if they lived alone, and had a small social circle.
