Dr. Rebecca Paluch of UBC Sauder is looking to hire an undergraduate research assistant to support her research activities. Her research focuses on how employees move through organizations over the course of their careers and how human resource practices shape employee experiences.
She is looking for a conscientious, diligent, and detail-oriented research assistant who is interested in learning more about the research process. Tasks include conducting literature reviews, assisting with developing and managing surveys, cleaning data cleaning, and preparing presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergrad student in commerce, psychology, social science, sociology, or other related
disciplines - Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with audiences from various
disciplines, communities and cultures. - Experience using data management/sharing tools to facilitate teamwork
- Experience creating surveys in Qualtrics
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a diverse team.
- Preference for a research assistant who would be able to work for more than 1 year.
Number of hours per week: approximately 5-10 hours per week
Start date: Immediately
End date: July 2025
Pay: $ 20-25/hour (depending on experience)
