The UBC Department of Sociology and the Sociology Students’ Association are excited to host this year’s Sociology Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC) on Friday, April 11.
SURC is a one-day, student-run conference that aims to recognize and showcase the scholarly research and sociological works our amazing undergraduate community has undertaken this year.
Find out what your Sociology peers are exploring by coming out to support and learn more about their projects and research. There will be food and refreshments provided, as well as prizes!
Students in Directed Studies and Sociology are encouraged to submit their abstracts and be considered to present. Submit your research, class papers, ethnographic fieldwork — any sociology-related works you deem worthy of sharing!
There are four spots available, those selected to present will be contacted via the email address you provided. Abstracts are due by March 21, 2025 at 11:59pm.
