About
Mary is a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia. Her work brings together scholarship from various fields. These include gender and sexuality studies, Indigenous studies, environmental sociology, and the sociology of health and illness. In combination, these fields allow her to examine how being in nature impacts the experiences and outcomes of people of different gender identities.
